20 Oct

We just added some beautiful new personalized Christmas ornaments that will make wonderful presents for anyone on your list!  These personalized ornaments are a great way to commemorate a big event like a wedding, birth or first day of school.  They’re also a great gift idea for teachers, best friends and grandparents.  Every year when’s it time to decorate the tree, they will remember the thoughtful present you gave them!  These are a few of my favorite from our collection.

Stay on the Nice List!

16 Dec

This holiday season, try to stay on the nice list by promptly writing your thank you notes for all the gifts you receive.  In the era of everything digital, a hand written thank you note really makes an impression!  The Stationery Studio has oodles to pick from, but here are a few of my favorites.  Stock up on personalized thank you notes now so you have them beyond the holidays as they can be used for any moment a thank you note is appropriate.

Top 3 Outdoor Photo Tips for Holiday Cards

28 Oct

Last year we shared our favorite outdoor photo tips for holiday cards.  It was a very popular post! We thought we would share our top 3 tips as so many of you take advantage of getting some great outdoor pictures during the Fall season.

  1. ANGLE.  If taking pictures of children, your pictures will look better if you squat down and take the picture at the level of your subject.  Brilliant!
  2. OUTDOORS.  The lighting is much better outdoors than indoors.
  3. CLOUDY SKIES.  Overcast days actually make for great picture taking because there is no sun glare or over exposure.

Do you have any favorite picture taking tips that you swear by?  Share your ideas with us!

Happy Snapping!
XOXO
