New Puppy?
Do you (or someone you know) have a new puppy? There’s nothing like a new puppy to add excitement to your life. They’re so cute and full of energy! Renee at The Stationery Studio just brought home this sweet puppy, Libby. She’s a silver Lab and she’s adorable! So what kind of gift do you give someone who gets a new puppy? I made sweet Libby some homemade dog biscuits and put them in a reusable container. I wanted to share the recipe with you … you can make these for any puppy (or any dog) who would love a yummy treat. WOOF!
Dog Biscuit Recipe (modified from Caser Millan’s original recipe)

- 1/2 c. ground flaxseed
- 1 tsp. salt (or less)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. Beef or chicken Bouillon granules (can substitute beef or chicken broth/stock)
- ½ cup hot water
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Dissolve bouillon in hot water

- Knead dough until it forms a ball (approximately 3 minutes)
- Roll dough until ½ inch thick
- Cut into slices or bone shapes (you can purchase a bone shaped cookie cutter to make shapes with)
- Place dough pieces on lightly greased cookie sheet
- Cook for 30 minutes
