What Happens When Skeletons Come Out of the Closet

Happy Halloween!  Trick-or-treaters will be knocking on doors looking for candy and carved pumpkins will be glowing into the night.  Halloween is my favorite holiday.  How could I not love it?  The vibrant colors of leaves changing, the crisp air, caramel apples, pumpkin lattes (wait … pumpkin EVERYTHING!).  And of course, the costumes.  That’s why Halloween is so fun.  Besides the costumes, I love seeing yards decorated with tombstones, gigantic spiders and ghosts.  So when I read about a family in South Carolina that decorates their porch with skeletons, I had to see what they did.  To my amazement, this family changes the scene on their porch every day until Halloween during the month of October.  The creativity is just amazing!  These are a few of my favorite scenes they’ve created this year.

Honestly, I don’t know how this family thinks of all these great ideas or how they have the time!  Do you create awe-inspiring Halloween scenes on your lawn or porch?  Or do you have neighbors that go all out with great ideas?  I would love to see what you do!  I am always looking for inspiration for Halloween decorating. Either way, enjoy your Halloween and have fun sneaking in a few candy bars for yourself between the trick-or-treaters!

xoxo,

Jennifer
